Detailed description:
I am experiencing an issue when trying to delete a relationship between tables in Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Expected behavior:
The system should allow the relationship to be deleted without restrictions.

Current behavior:
The delete button is disabled
The system returns the error: "AI Skill Configuration"
No action occurs after attempting to delete

Attempts made:
Checked for relationship dependencies
Cleared cache / tried another browser
Verified security permissions

Thank you in advance for assistance.

This is expected behavior when Copilot or other AI features are enabled.

AI features create hidden “AI Skill” dependencies that reference table relationships so the model understands how data is connected. These dependencies do not appear in the standard “Show dependencies” view, but Dataverse still treats the relationship as in use and blocks deletion.

    Why the delete is blocked
    • AI Skill metadata references the relationship
    • Dependency exists at the platform metadata level, not UI components
    • Dataverse prevents deletion to avoid breaking AI models
    How to resolve
    1. Check Copilot or AI settings on the affected tables and disable them if not needed
    2. Look for AI Skill or AI Configuration records referencing the relationship and remove it from the AI data source
    3. If AI uses Change Tracking, try disabling it before deleting
    4. If the relationship is part of a managed solution, it must be removed via a solution update

This is not a permissions or browser issue. It is caused by hidden AI dependencies, and Microsoft Support may be required if the AI configuration cannot be cleared manually.
