Power Automate – Image from Power BI Report Not Rendering in Teams Channel

Hi Team,

We are trying to automate a manual process where an image captured from a Power BI report is posted as a card in a Microsoft Teams channel.

We have tried multiple approaches using Power Automate to achieve this; however, none of them have worked as expected. Currently, the flow is only posting the title or name of the image, not the actual image content, to the Teams channel.

e are requesting your assistance to help identify and fix the issue so that the image itself is successfully posted to the Teams channel.

Please find the Power Automate flow link below for reference:

Please advise. Thanks

We won't be able to access the link that you've provided as we're not members of your tenant.

What have you tried in the flow? Have you tried the 'Export to file for Power BI Reports' action?

Using this action you can export as PNG, PDF or PPTX.

From there you could send in an email or add to a teams message.

    Thanks

You cannot directly post the image. You need to retrieve it from Power BI, store it in a Sharepoint, and then wait a couple seconds, and then you can fetch it from the sharepoint and post it to the Teams card.

Thanks @lbendlin and @Bezanca for your inputs.
Sure lbendlin, let me try this alternate. Could you pls advise steps to replicate this in the workflow. Thanks
