Hi all,
I am new to Power Automate and struggling with feeding approver's email from Sharepoint Online list into "Assigned To" field of Approval flow. I am working on creating of Approval flow where creator of the record has to choose one value from the list (organized as list of emails in Approver column in SPO list). What am I missing?

Add a People/Group column to the document library.  Call it something like Approver.  Then have the user fill in that metadata when they save the document.  You can then pick up the email address from that field in the flow.

I agree with @Pstork1 - his suggestion will work for you.  If you want to limit who can be selected in the Person or Groups column, do the following:

    1. Create a SharePoint group
    2. Add the people who you can be approvers to the SharePoint group
    3. When configuring the Person or Group column, in the "Choose From" dropdown, select the group you just created
    4. Optional - in the column description, list the people in the group so users know who they can enter.

@vladisam1 Hi Vlad, is there a separate SharePoint list? or when you say SharePoint list you mean the SharePoint document library. If it's a SharePoint document library , I think the previous answer would fit for you. Otherwise you would need choose the approver value from SharePoint list column.

    Thank you.
