Hello,

My customer has 2 RPA Processes for which we need Hosted Process license. We have below questions.

1. How many hosted Process license will be needed? The RPA processes are not running simultaneously and there is no schedule conflict?
2. Also how many premium licenses will be needed if there are 2 developers working simultaneously?
2. Can we develop PAD and cloud flows on same hosted VM which is provided with the license?
3. The RPA process is using MS office, which additional license is needed for it?
4. There is one windows legacy application. Does the source machine should have same OS for creating image as the destination VM?

Thanks in advance

    1) If the processes are running on the same Unattended Virtual Machine at different times then you should only need one Hosted Process license to cover the two RPA flows.  Here's the quote from the pricing page that covers that scenario:  "Assigned to a machine, a bot can execute one unattended desktop flow run at a time. Multiple bots are required to execute concurrent desktop flow runs on a machine. Download the Power Platform licensing guide for more information."
    2) If they are working in a Developer environment to create flows that will run in production they would only need a standard license, like the one the comes with Office 365. If they are working in any other kind of environment they will need a Premium license.
2b) Its possible, but would be difficult.  To run the two hosted process flows in unattended mode a user can't be logged into the hosted machine. So you could only login to do development when the two RPA flows are NOT scheduled to be running.
    3) Any standard Office license would be sufficient.  A specific license isn't required for RPA, just for running Office on the desktop.
    4) If you are creating an image to create the hosted machine then yes, it should have the same OS.
