Sometimes it can take a bit for the connection to replicate permissions so that it will in fact work. Other times it can simply be a simple communication issue, where-in it should resolve using proper error handling and retries, but.. in most cases I find its simply a matter of a synchronization between the gateway, the platform and onpremise permissions that goes away rather quickly.
So it can happen though for other reasons (gateway communication issues, going to or from your network when it reaches out), it can be UNC issues internally since you have a different protocol being used to Share Things (files/folders etc) versus "the connection which is TCP" etc.
:-( I do apologize it happens at all, but it will happen at random times even just from internet network issues that can come up, but those are the primary reasons, (which can include DNS issues due to communication issues and mapping of DNS to UNC etc internally).
I hope that helps, I mean I wish it hehe could fix it forever, but at least you have a list of reasons it can happen without you thinking something is too terribly wrong.
Cheers!!
P.S. THe pictures are blank (another issue on the site right now) I notice that if I paste it in (myself when I answer), if the image is blank it will appear blank, so I remove it and repaste a few times lol and it finally shows up).
If these suggestions help resolve your issue, Please consider Marking the answer as such and also maybe a like.
Thank you!
