We are facing an intermittent issue while processing the bot. We have 4 VMs where the bot is running, and it is getting stuck in the middle of the .Run Script action. If we retry the execution, it usually works successfully (sometimes after one or two retries). We have checked the VM resources, including disk space and memory utilization, and everything appears to be normal. . Could there be any known reasons that might cause this behavior?

Here's what I would check: I would determine which VMs this hangup is actually occurring on. If you are running a machine group, maybe this is isolated to a single VM.

Then I think it may come down to one of these 2 root causes:

1- the service needs to be restarted. Restart PAD services on that machine specifically.

2- it almost sounds like there's a process waiting for your input, like a hidden prompt OR the file is locked and just sits there waiting.

One of the best ways to "track this down" is after key steps, add a step write to log_test.txt and indicate which step you are at in the script.

That's going to help you determine the root cause because there's really not enough information provided here to definitively state what the issue is and how to resolve.
