Hi everyone!
I would like to automate the process of downloading data from a web-based system using Power Automate Desktop.
The system contains data for several different categories and subcategories. The process currently works as follows:
1. Open the browser.
2. Log in to the system.
3. Select the appropriate subcategory.
4. Run the query.
5. Download the results.
6. Repeat the same process for more than 30 different subcategories.
I have already managed to automate the process with Power Automate Desktop, so the basic workflow is working.
However, I am having a problem when navigating to the subcategories. There are several small arrows next to each other, and I need to click on the appropriate arrow to open the desired category.
Power Automate Desktop does not always identify the correct arrow reliably. Sometimes it works, but other times it either cannot find the element or clicks on the wrong arrow.
Therefore, I would like to ask what would be the most reliable way to identify and click these arrows in Power Automate Desktop.
Is there any way to identify a specific arrow more reliably?
If anyone has any advice or could suggest a specific and stable solution, I would really appreciate it!
