Endless creation of buckets in my plan

When i use power automate to generate plans in planner with buckets and task it creates endless of buckets in every plan. I have tried everything i know of but nothing works. what am i doing wrong?

Since I can't see your specific logic, here is the "guess" on why your buckets are multiplying:

Missing Lookup Logic: Your flow likely goes straight from a trigger to a Create a bucket action. It assumes the bucket is missing every time it runs, rather than checking if it already exists.

The "Apply to Each" Loop: If you are processing multiple items (like rows in Excel or SharePoint), you might have the Create a bucket action inside the loop. This causes a new bucket to be created for every single item processed, even if they all belong in the same one.

Trigger Recurrence: If your flow is triggered "When an item is modified," any action the flow takes (like updating the plan) might be re-triggering the flow, creating a "recursive loop" that keeps adding buckets until the run limit is hit.

You haven't shared the Flow Pictorial representation (Screenshot) or the Flow Run History.

Based on that we can intercept what is causing the issue and how it can be fixed. With the plain text as problem statement it will be very difficult to identify the issue and eliminate it. Please share the relevant information to proceed further.

i have a couple of more questions.

1. what info do you need exactly to be able to help me.

2. where do i get that information., like flow run history.

3. i missed a call from customer service and when i try to call back it asking for a 8 digit number. What number is that?
