How to Trigger When A Facilitator Transcript has been Uploaded

The majority of my users only use Facilitator to capture meeting transcripts—no video recordings anymore. We’ve gone all-in on Facilitator.

Has anyone found a reliable Power Automate flow for detecting when Facilitator transcripts are ready?

I currently have a flow that monitors the Recordings folder in OneDrive for standard Teams meeting recordings. However, as many of you know, Facilitator creates a Loop file that ends up in the Meetings folder in OneDrive instead—which complicates things a bit.

I'm curious what approaches others are using to trigger downstream processes once those transcripts are available.

Any advice, best practices, or examples would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers.

If you're building an automated downstream process, I'd recommend:
    • Trigger on new file creation in the OneDrive Meetings folder.
    • Add a delay (for example, 5–10 minutes).
    • Check whether the file's Last Modified timestamp has stopped changing or whether the expected transcript content is present.
    • Only then start your downstream processing.
This approach is generally more reliable than reacting immediately to the file creation event.

Unfortunately, as of today, there is no native Power Automate trigger or officially documented API that fires specifically when a Facilitator transcript is fully generated. It's a common request, and many organizations using Facilitator would benefit from a first-class trigger for this scenario.
