Hi all,

I’m running into issues while building flows in the Personal Productivity environment. I’m getting the following errors:

"Admin data policy 'Personal Productivity' restricts use of these APIs: HttpRequestReceived."

"Admin data policy 'Personal Productivity' restricts the use of /providers/Microsoft.PowerApps/apis/shared_office365 with /providers/Microsoft.PowerApps/apis/shared_commondataserviceforapps.

Flow checker also displays a warning saying there’s a potential problem with the flow.

This seems to be specific to the Personal Productivity environment. However, when I switch to the Stage or Prod environment, it looks like I don’t have the required permissions to create or modify flows there.

Can someone help clarify:

Why these API restrictions exist in Personal Productivity, and

What access is needed to work in Stage or Prod environments

These errors you are seeing on the Personal Productivity environment will be due to the DLP policy that has been created to allow and block connectors.

You'll need to speak to your Power Platform admin who can advise more on your DLP policies. It is fairly common practice though to block a HTTP connector from the personal productivity environment.

For the Staging and Prod environments, this sounds like an access restriction. Normal practice would be to do your Dev work in a developer environment and then promote the solution through to staging and prod. Again, one to speak to your Power Platform admin for advise.
