Power Automate - Notion connector stopped working on 2026-08-18 - error: API token is invalid

Hi,

I use Power Automate - Notion connector to create calendar entries as Notion pages. It has been working without any issues for 1 year.

Since 18 August, it gives an error message: "API token is invalid".

I tried recreating the API access token in Notion, but nothing changed. Also, I tested the API connection via command prompt (curl) and it works well, so it is an issue with Power Automate.

I changed my Power Automate license from Free to Premium, but the issue is the same.

Any help is appreciated.

Best Regards, Zoltan

Your testing already provides strong evidence that Notion is accepting the token and the problem is likely in the Power Automate connection/Notion connector

path. The most valuable next step is to test a brand-new Power Automate connection in a brand-new minimal flow. If that also fails with a token independently

verified by curl, stop regenerating tokens and escalate the connector issue to Microsoft.

    Thank you 11manish,
I wrote to Power Automate support and also to the creator of the Notion connector.
    We will see what happens.

More like a connector side issue than a problem with your Notion token, especially since the same token works with `curl`. Try deleting and recreating the Notion connection in Power Automate and reauthorizing it completely. If that doesn’t help, check whether the connector had a recent update or outage around August 18, as the error may be coming from the connector itself.
