Hi,

I am facing an issue in creation of Word file(s) using Power Automate Desktop - Populate Word Template Action. The same actions are working fine in Power Automate Cloud. However, when i am entering a For Each Loop, PAD is throwing up an error at the stage of - "converting Binary Date to file"  using "Current Item at Index [0] stage".
The screenshot of the error is enclosed.

Please help.

    @SA_VOH Hi,
    Do you have any special characters in you Excel file ?
    You can try to use a static name for your docx file to see if you get any error, if not, I think it should be the data in your Excel file caused.

    make sure to avoid using those when create files.

    Thanks, Yes your solution made my day and the issue got resolved. However, after correcting of this issue, i am facing 2 more issues:-

    1. In addition to the Word documents that were correctly created using PAD, PAD created 2 more documents namely ".docx" and "Invoice.docx". The ".docx" doesn't open and i am unable to comprehend from whereit appeared and the "Invoice.docx" is name of my 1st column Header. Please suggest, how to correct the issue or should i try to remove these files from the folder, using delete files action. The files created are enclosed in screenshot.

    2. Another issue, i am facing is that the "Dates" and "Currency" formats are not getting displayed correctly. The Date is appearing "dd-mm-yyyy hh:mm" whereas i want only "dd-mm-yyyy". Further, amounts are appearing as an whole number/integer, whereas i want $ currency format in INR i.e 10021345 should appear as $1,00,21,345. The issue   is also enclosed in screenshot. In Power Automate cloud, i am able to format the dates & amount (Currency) format at the time of Dynamic Expression itself, how to do it in PAD, is something i am not clear.

    Please help with the above two issues, so that i can use the flow in PAD rather than Power Automate Cloud.

    @SA_VOH Hi,
    1. Those should come from your Excel sheet header, you can narrow down the range when read the data from the file.
    2. you can use Convert datetime to text and Convert number to text ( reply on your local pc format setting).

    Another option is when you create the flow , enable Power Fx, it will be easier since you can use the fx, almost the same as you do in cloud flow.
