Hi Everyone,

I want to get the dates in the Power automate desktop
Ex- If the current month is Oct'25 i want the start date 01.08.2025 and end date is 30.09.2025

If the current month is Nov'25 I want the start date 01.08.2025 and end date is 31.10.2025

If the Current month is Jan'26 I want the start date 01.11.2025 and end date is 31.12.2025

Attach is the image for your reference - please help me with the flows asap

Hello @Ahmedmuz

Below is a desktop flow capturing Start Date and End Date in variables using your table logic literally, mostly, with hard coding the output.
If there was a real pattern that could be coded, you would do this differently. It seems there is not.

Action step 6 is a data entry dialog so I could have a starting point input for the flow. You'll have to start with your input design.
Action step 7 converts that entry into a real datetime value.
Action step 8 converts that back to text but just getting the month number in MM format.
Action step 9 determines if MM is equal to 10 (October) then sets the variables per your table.
Action step 12 begins the Else If steps checking for 11 (November), then 01 (January) and then finally 02 (February).

In the flow run below, I entered 02-01-2026 to start it.

Hope this helps to at least get you started with the design elements you need to meet the requirements.

Below are the examples

If Current month is Oct'25 = Start date 01.08.2025 And end date is 30.09.2025

Given I've got the first rule correct, here is a screen shot of actions in PAD to determine the Start Date.

You can follow a similar approach for End date; however, it will be different considering not every month has the same number of days.

Is this your date logic?

For given current month:

Start Date = First day of the month 2 months prior

End Date = Last day of the month 1 month prior
