Workflow Stopped Writing to Excel

Hi Team,
I have a desktop workflow that I have been running daily for the last few months. All of a sudden, yesterday it stopped working. There is a step in the flow that writes SQL Query results to an Excel sheet. This step has stopped working. I deleted the step in the flow and re-created the step. That did not work. I then built an identical new workflow and tried to run that. It did not work either. It keeps getting hung up on the write to excel step. This flow had been working daily for several months prior. I have similar workflows on other laptops that have the same steps that are currently running and not failing. I have validated that the excel sheet it is writing to is not protected and that I am writing to column A, row 1. Is there anything I can do to get my workflow back up and running again?

    Hi Nived,
    I checked the excel sheet and I do not see anything out of the ordinary. The form is blank. It is a brand new sheet that was just opened. The data type for the cells is set to the default of General. Nothing on the form is protected that I can find.

    Quite strange - did you try to open the excel after flow is stopped - any thing noticed ?

    Hi,
    Thanks for your fast reply. Unfortunately, I checked everything and there was no issue with those. There is no pop-up, and the column and row indexes are within those guidelines. I also closed excel from task manager and tried to run it again, and it failed again. It opens the blank excel sheet, it just won't write to it. I am a little confused because it had been writing to it previously for the last few months, and then it just stopped. There was no update to software that I remember recently either. Do you know of anything else I can check? Again, I have that same workflow on my other laptop and it is running normally. For whatever reason, on this laptop, it just stopped being able to write to excel. Any help with this is appreciated.

    Did you check whether any popup is appearing when trying to write to excel ?
     
    Also did you check these highlighted points as well ?
     
     
     
    Else Just try to end any excel process from task manager and start the flow - see whether that helps !
