Recognise child window as main window

Hello,

I am currently automating a holiday application with power automate. However, I have stumbled accross following problem: To begin with, a window called "calendar" is opened, then on this window, a second one called "new date" is opened. The first one is recognised by power automate as a main window; the second one is solely a "child window"/popup of "calendar" and is therefore recognised as an UI-element. When Power Automate is trying to interact with "new date", each time the window is being reloaded/reopened with another window popping up, which asks to save the changes". Thus, I cannot choose items in a combo box, check a check box or enter a word in the edit panel.

Does anyone know how to:

Make Power Automate Desktop recognize a child window as a main window?
Use any special settings or techniques to achieve this?
Or an alternative approach, for instance how to change the attributes of each combo box/check box- UI element so that it works
