PAD flow not running from Task Scheduler (PAD.Console.Host.exe opens app but does nothing)

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to run a Power Automate Desktop (PAD) flow automatically using Task Scheduler on Windows 10. I’m using the correct command:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Power Automate Desktop\PAD.Console.Host.exe" run --name "Mngt Chng Email to Folder Automation" --user "bloomberg"

The task completes with code 0x0, PAD opens, but the flow does not start. No steps are executed, no error appears, and it just sits idle. The flow runs fine when I click “Play” manually. It's saved locally under “Mes flux” (my computer is in French) and shows up when I run PAD.Console.Host.exe list.

I’ve confirmed the user is correct, the session is unlocked, and the flow is not open in edit mode. I even built a new flow from scratch in the local workspace, and the issue still happens.

Has anyone faced this? Is there a licensing limitation or hidden requirement I’m missing? How can I fix it?

Thanks in advance!

I don't think that is the recommended solution for an unattended flow, at least not reliably as you have indicated.  Instead you want to launch this from a cloud flow, have your desktop flow log-in to a VM and run your desktop flow.
