My Power Automate flow and desktop flow, that were working two days ago, will no longer work.  The cloud flow returns an error that the  'The user specified in the connection is not logged into the machine' but i am logged in and have checkd with whoami and it returns the correct user.  I have deleted the connection, re-registered the machine, re-created the machine and all connections and it still returns the same error.  I have even tried to build a new desktop and cloud flow to re test and it will no longer connect to the VM.  I am at a loss of what could have changed?

You said you are logged in, but if you check the status do you by chance have multiple logins? Is one set to Disconnected, even if logged in? I would suggest rebooting the VM, relogging in and trying again.

And simply verify that you can in fact reach that VM or another and validate that no one changed any DLP, Managed Environment Settings, or any type of Security fix (like adding MFA, or any conditional Access policies) that are now something you also have to do with your account.

I am assuming this is an Attended session? As in your logged in, not just connection? And again if you reboot the VM, logged back in and turn OFF your cloud flow, turn it back on and things still do not work then... I would verify that you can telent/ping the port you are using, to make sure someone didn't block RPC etc.

If these suggestions help resolve your issue, Please consider Marking the answer as such and also maybe a like.

    Thank you!
    Sincerely, Michael Gernaey
