Use Excel sheet in a loop to fill out a web form....help!

Hi folks,

I have a specific business case for PAD. Have experience in Power Automate but Desktop is new to me. I have spent hours with ai but to no avail. Here's my case: I need to fill out a web form using an excel sheet. Say I have an excel with firstname, lastname and email columns. I can load the excel and then I need to loop it and each loop needs to fill these 3 cells into the form. For the life of me I cannot retrieve the value of a single cell.

AI keeps insisting to use %CurrentItem['firstname']% or someting like that but this doesn't work, it just returns that code as text.

Documentation seems scarce... anyone knows more about this? No ai crafted answers please.

Thanks!

    So,

    1) does your excel have a table and you specifically defined headers so that it knows firstname is the value since the header is defined in the table? Otherwise it has no clue what that is and will just treat everything as a string. That or the field is not named firstname so double check the header spelling

Well in the end the correct syntax was =CurrentItem.First_Name.
