Update teams approval status using HTTP request

We have a cleanup task to update teams approval if approval is taken care by some other means (from other systems / other approval). We are using cancelApproval API and it seems to be working great (updating status to cancel, also reflects it on teams app and not just in backend dataverse table) except that we would like to change the approval status as 'Skipped' instead of cancel. Is there any other API we could use.

GET or PATCH doesnt seem to work.

DELETE https://approvals.teams.microsoft.com/api/cancelApproval/ - works

GET https://approvals.teams.microsoft.com/api/ - do not work

PATCH https://approvals.teams.microsoft.com/api/ - do not work
