Cannot Sign In to Power Automate from Excel for Web

Hi there,

I'm hoping someone can help me - I'm not able to login to power automate via Excel for web. When I open the Flow add-in, I'm prompted to sign-in through a pop-up window, and once I do, the window disappears and I'm back where I've started. I've experienced this issue in the past (and previously corrected it by switching from Firefox to Chrome with third party partitioning disabled), and can now no longer get it to work on Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Opera or Safari. I've tried breaking and fixing connections, deleting and re-installing the add-on, deleting cookies and cache, shutting down, and everything else I can think of, but nothing has worked.

This particular feature has become a pretty crucial tool for how I manage certain work, and my organization does not have a license to allow me to work in the desktop app. If anyone has ideas or solutions, that would be so helpful!

Microsoft - if this is becoming a widespread issue, a fix would be appreciated, as well.

I didn't get any answers, but I did come up with a fix that allows me to use the feature in Firefox - it's essentially what I had been doing in Chrome, but it looks like Chrome's more recent update wiped out the ability to toggle on/off third-party storage partitioning. To get it to work in Firefox, here's how I disabled third-party storage partitioning:

    1. Go to network.cookie.cookieBehavior preferences in the about:config page
    2. Change the default value from 5 to 4

Hopefully this works for someone else out there! Would still appreciate some help from Microsoft to make this feature more widely available in different browsers.

Having the same problem 10-10-2025. Still no fix?
