Extracting last word in email subject and putting in Excel table

When I use the expression in a Compose as per below the Output should go into Removal field of  spreadsheet (refer second screenshot)  but  actually shows the Expression itself  (refer Bottom image) NOT the Output.
How do I get the Output (result) of Expression to appear in  table.

My guess is you accidentally TYPED in the expression in the text input section, not in the popup Expression area, its the only thing that makes sense.

That or you put  "" around it and accidentally turned it into a string.

Can you show the Compose? please

Or go go your Compose and just look at it. If its not a purple expression/pink expression box and instead words (aka text) you accidentally typed it in the wrong way :-)

Make sure to type it in the expression window and do not put "" around it

If these suggestions help resolve your issue, Please consider Marking the answer as such and also maybe a like.

    Thank you!

    Many Thanks Michael

My copy and pasting of expression  did not create the correct inputs formula.

By actually typing the expression in, I got the result as per  below which looks much better and actually works

     Cheers
