MS Teams Approval Request number formatting

Hi Everyone,

 

I have a question regarding number formatting in power automate approval requests. In my case, I am sending out an approval request with both English and Chinese text. The text is formatted like this:

 

1. English text

1. Chinese text

2. English text

2. Chinese text.

 

In the approval request which is received via Outlook, this formatting is retained. However, in the approval request which is sent via MS Teams, the number formatting is reformatted as follows:

 

1. English text

2. Chinese text

3. English text

4. Chinese text

 

Is there a way in which I can retain the original formatting in the MS Teams approval request as well as in the Outlook one?

    Hi @holtma 

    the reason is because power automate approvals action uses limited Markdown Language support in teams requests. As you can see from the table below. Numbered lists are not supported in Approvals teams app. I would suggest that you put line breaks in between
