Issue Summary

We’re encountering a strange issue where a Power Apps button triggers a Power Automate flow , but it fails only for certain users with the above error.

The same flow runs successfully for other users under identical conditions.

Key Observations

  1. The issue only affects some users — others can trigger the exact same flow without error.

  2. All affected users have the same Power Automate licensing as the successful users.

  3. We have verified that:

    1. The flow runs perfectly when triggered by unaffected users.

    2. When we recreated the same flow using the errored user’s credentials and then triggered it using a successful user, it runs successfully.

    3. Therefore, it doesn’t appear to be a flow or connection reference configuration issue.

Any suggestion how to solve this issue?

The Power App's metadata might not be synchronized try the below approach.

    Action Item:

    • Edit the Power App.
    • Remove the problematic Power Automate flow connection from the app.
    • Re-add the flow, which will refresh the connection and ensure the app uses the latest flow definition.
    • Republish the Power App.

If this also not working, update the flow account with service account details. The flow running with service account is always the best practice.

    Hi @FY-05080825-0,

    Also please check.

    1. Is the connection is shared to users?
    2. Cross check with your power platform admin to verify Office 365 connection is not blocked.

    Thanks,
