Hello everyone,

I am currently working through the Power BI module as part of my training program. However, I’ve run into an issue: the videos and exercises seem to be based on the Power BI Desktop application, but I’m using a MacBook. When I access Power BI via the online platform, the interface and features look different, making it challenging to follow along.

Could anyone guide me on how to navigate this situation? Are there any alternative resources or solutions for Mac users to complete the exercises effectively?

Help Needed: Power BI Module on MacBook

thank you, I was under the impression that we would be able to do the excersices on the online version of Power Bi, I guess I miss understood.

I am not quite sure how to go about to do any of the things you suggest. I dont have enough space/capacity to do do a bootcamp and split my harddrive for a windows intalation.

Help Needed: Power BI Module on MacBook

You could run a VM on your MacBook, via Parallels or other similar software. Or you could connect to a Windows VM via RDP and run Power BI Desktop there.
