Announcing Category Subscriptions!

We're excited to announce that forum category subscriptions are live in the Community!

Subscribing to categories

Subscribing to forums is a convenient way to stay up to date on the latest conversations posted to the Community. But that can quickly become a lot of notifications within an active forum.

Now you can subscribe to posts for only the categories you select!

To subscribe to a forum, go to the forum and select the Subscribe to all button on the right. Once subscribed, the card will show Unsubscribe to all instead and you can select the button to unsubscribe from the forum.

Alternatively, you can select only the categories that you want to subscribe to. Selecting the categories completes the subscription, and the button will change to Unsubscribe to all for easy removal of all your subscription choices.

Notes:

• Subscribing to a forum for the first time may take up to 24 hours before it is active. Once a subscription is active, however, changing category selections or unsubscribing is immediate.
• You cannot subscribe to a private forum.
