I have been using a Power Automate flow with the trigger "click on Power BI button" and it has been working for a long time.

Then I added a new step to the flow and it stopped working. Now the trigger sends empty data although the Power BI model hasn't changed at all and there is lot's of data.
I have tried building the PA flow from scratch creating the flow directly from editing in Power BI Desktop and/or Power BI Service. None of them work. The trigger keeps sending empty data !!

    "body": {
        "entity": {}
    }
}



It usually looks like:  "body": {
        "entity": {
            "Power BI values": [
                {....



Any help would be truly appreciated?!

Welcome to the club - you have made the mistake to use the New Editor. Start over from scratch. If the array still comes over as empty despite starting over with the classic editor, raise a ticket with Microsoft.

Well, after spending more than a workday with this stupid bug trying in 700 different ways without any luck, I finally found a post somewhere on the internet that gave me the fix.

Insert an Apply to each loop as the first step after the trigger and select one of the fields from the trigger.

I am not using this step for anything. But once it's added I get data from the trigger again. In addition I can edit the flow in Power Automate Cloud without any problems at all. Earlier this could also break the entire flow. It needed to created and edited from the Power BI visual.

Very stupid bug and workaround. But whatever works.. :)

Let me rephrase - it DOES work for new flows, which is great. now recreating all the stuck flows...
