You can add the desktop flow into a solution in the power platform cloud portal and then export that solution so you have zip file that contains the flow back up.
So go to make.powerautomate.com and choose the same environment as your desktop flow is in. Then create a solution and go into that solution. Then "Add existing" and add the Desktop flow into that.
Then go back to the Solutions page where all the solutions are listed. Select the solution and choose "Export solution".
Export it as "Unmanaged" so that it saves it as a solution that can be modified/developed.
Another way is just to save all the flow actions in to a text file. So Copy all the actions and paste them into a solution.
