I am helping out someone with a project and they need to extract data from a Word document that contains hyperlinked words and specific formatting. This data needs to be sent over to another Word document with a specific format.
I know that I can create a Word Template to get that specific format, but what I am not sure how to preserve the hyperlinked items within the original document. The project will involve over 400+ documents. We also tried AI Builder but the hyperlinks are lost when it is extracted and that is a very important piece to this extraction.
I also thought perhaps Microsoft Desktop would be an option since in cloud there seems to be limitations. I get what connectors I need but its the in between where I am not sure. Online sources suggested Encodian as well but I am trying to avoid any third party apps.
Has anyone here tried Extracting Word Docs to a Word Template but also preserve the hyperlinked data?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
