Giving PowerAutomate access , to a Google Drive shared folder

I'm trying to set up a flow to connect to my shared drive on Google Drive but it seems the shared drive is not picked up, only the normal drive shows.

How can I get this working?

Is it possible?

Ensure Proper Permissions on the Shared Drive.
    • Verify that the account you're using in Power Automate has sufficient access (e.g., Editor or higher) to the shared drive and its contents.
    • Content in the Shared drive must be explicitly shared with your google account, if you cannot see the shared drive in your google drive web interface then it wouldn't appear in power automate either
Use the List files in folder Action with the Shared Drive
    • In Power Automate, when configuring Google Drive actions, use (List files in folder) or (Get current file content by path) actions
    • If you know the folder path or ID for the shared drive, manually input it instead of relying on the drop down.
Specify the Shared Drive ID (Manual Configuration)
    • Google Drive APIs and connectors sometimes require you to specify the Drive ID of the shared drive explicitly
    • Try manually typing in the folder name in Power automate and verify if that works

    hello @Gopala_Krishna -

If you don't mind, I'm having the same issue as the OP; my flow will not connecting to a Shared Drive. I've tried each of your helpful steps above, with the exception of the final:

Specify the Shared Drive ID (Manual Configuration)
    • Google Drive APIs and connectors sometimes require you to specify the Drive ID of the shared drive explicitly
    • Try manually typing in the folder name in Power automate and verify if that works

Would you please be willing to expound on the step above? I have the Shared Drive id that I need, but even when I place it into the Folder id field of the "List files in folder" Action, the final step of my flow (Update File) cannot find the file id that it needs.

Note that I have tested this on My Drive, and it works beautifully, just not on a Shared Drive.

    Thank you!
