Apps Become Corrupted

We have apps that have been running without major issues for 2 years, for some reason that we can't figure out yet (no adjustment has been made), the objects did not load properly as the variables did not update (remained empty).

Searched the internet but there was no reported PowerApps global issue.

We have tried rolling back to the older version but did not resolve the issue.

We are recreating the apps (as a temporary solution), though it worked, it took us a lot of time to complete it.

It's weird that 2 out of 40 apps did not behave as it us used to be yesterday, then same thing happens to another app as of this writing.

Did someone experience the same issue?

    Hi,

Did this just happen recently? Were the apps republished or the issue happened without republishing?

When you test the app, do you see the same issues? For initializing variables, are you using App.OnStart or something else like form Visibility?

One thing you could try if things are not working when you test the app, is to change the Authoring Version to an earlier version to see if that makes a difference. You would do that from Settings - Support - Authoring Version. You can only go back so far so that may not help.

What is your datasource? Dataverse? SharePoint? SQL?

You could also run Monitor to see when calls are made.
