Aggregation_ID Logic Generation

Hello, just wondering, is there any logic behind aggregation_ID created by power automate process mining tool? Like does it give aggregation_ID alphabetically? or based on some kind of order?

The problem is we need to create some set of measure behind this aggregation_ID to play around with the visualization. This can be done in PowerBI desktop since there's no limitation to create calculated column on remote table, but the issue will occur once we publish to powerBI service and dataset changed/refreshed, it will fails.

    Hello,
there are 3 main ways how to sufficiently add new aggregations (=create new columns) to the tables and not to lose the data:
    1. Create them directly in your EventLog and import them to the PAPM tool. Suitable if you created EventLog outside of the PAPM, e.g. via SQL.
    2. Create these columns during transformation phase, just before "Analyzing" in the PAPM tool, leveraging the Power Query.
    3. Create these in Power BI. But make sure you create those columns not in the report, but in the "local data model", since the report gets rewritten with every new data refresh.
Disadvantage of Option 3: you will not have these columns available in the PAPM tool for analysis.
Advantage of Option 3: For many users it is easier to create these in Power BI, since they are more experienced.

    Hi,

Can you share more details about where you see and use the aggregation_ID?
