Unable to create School Maintenance solution in my development environment

I have just started the Power Up Programme and have set up a development environment as per the instructions.
 
When I select solutions. The page shows no database found (attached) so i am unable to create a solution.
 
I believe that the Development Environment should already have been linked to a database. Is anyone able to advise or assist?

    When i start learning path with power up, i detect same thing but i think you can still create table clumn following program episode, i managed to do so.
