Hi All,

I am using SQL as a database. In gallery I connected to SQL table. I have a comment field which is textinput. Whenever I tried to patch comment to SQL I cant able to patch. Similarly with checkbox I have written code in oncheck and onuncheck same error.

Note:
I dont have any buttons to save record to SQL. I am using onchange condition to save directly to sql.

code:
Patch('main.ifps_dev',ThisItem,{CHECKBOX:true})

    Hi,

Check your data source to confirm the exact name of the SQL connection — it should look something like [@IFPS_DEV].

Power Apps treats SQL connections differently than SharePoint or Dataverse, so make sure you’re referencing the actual connection name, not the table name or a text string.

    I still have to do a Patch (datasource, LookUp(key = ThisItem.<dataitem>), { column1:thisItem.<dataitem>})

My datasource for SQL Server is the table name that you brought in with the connector

Note on connector names - I named this with the GatewayclusterName.server.database.application -  to make
    them easy to identify.
