Hello, I’m curious about the difference between Canvas Apps and Custom Pages. The requirement specifies using a Canvas App, but my Custom Page design is more visually appealing. Would it be acceptable to present the Custom Page despite the requirement? I appreciate your guidance. Thank you in advance.
For the purpose of the final app challenge, I recommend that you create a canvas app rather than a custom page.
An assessor needs to check the app that you demonstrate against the requirements and therefore, I would create a canvas app to be sure to meet the requirement.
The thing to focus on is to make sure you meet the requirements, particularly around that of setting the status to 'claimed for foster' on a click of a button, and to send the email.
To comment further on this, there are features that are available in canvas apps that are not available in custom pages, such as multiple screens and availability of some controls such as the timer control.
Hello, both canvas app and customs page use same approach for building app using same developing interface and using PowerFx the only difference is customs pages can be integrated within model driven app, that's not the case with canvas app
