Tenant Domain Not Resolving in Power Platform Cross-Tenant Restrictions

Hi all,

I'm configuring Cross-Tenant Restrictions in the Power Platform Admin Center (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/cross-tenant-restrictions), and according to the documentation, entering a tenant domain (e.g., contoso.com) in the allow list should automatically resolve the corresponding tenant ID.

However, in my case, this does not work — the Save button stays disabled when I add a tenant domain.

It only works if I enter the actual tenant ID (GUID) or use a wildcard (*).

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Is this a known limitation or bug, or am I missing something in the setup?

    @Ameya Samant Hi,
Yes, the tenant id is unique.
    Additional info:
you can use below link to take the action without switch to classic admin center.😊

    Hello @stampcoin

It worked, thanks a ton!! You really saved my weekend :)

Just one last question on tenant isolation. Since a tenant can have multiple domains, I am assuming that once tenant isolation is enabled, all domains under that tenant will automatically be allowed for inbound/outbound connections by default, without needing any additional exception rules.

    Is that correct?

    Thanks again!

You have Power platform admin, so that should be fine.
What I did is switch to classic admin center, don't use Security menu, it won't work.
Go to Policies, choose Tenant  isolation.

    Hello @stampcoin

Thanks for your prompt response .I tried both the old and new UI, as well  multiple browsers, but had no luck. Could this be permission related? I have PP admin rights.

It might be a bug, you can try to switch to the classic admin center to make it work.( switch back after that).
    Re-navigate the menu.
