I am trying to figure out an appropriate trigger condition for my flow so that the only flow that runs is the person's who creates the item in Sharepoint. Should I do that based on the user's name?

It doesn't look like the trigger condition can be set dynamically to be able to choose the created by option.

I also changed the employee name to be the person who I sent the flow to btw.

So i send them a copy of my flow and then it updates to be their connections instead of mine and it is set to send the approval to the user's manager. But when I added in the trigger condition, it doesn't run the flow. So I think I don't have the trigger condition set correctly. Currently it is set like this: I had 'EmployeeName' set to my name.

While you can use a condition like that @NN_Henkel it ends up costin multiple actions, versus just adding in a Trigger Condition

Use a condition to check if the item is created by ex. Created by Email

If yes, continue your flow, if not, terminate it

Hi @MC-08030409-0

You should do this based on the created by and modified by fields yes.

I am guessing you have multiple flows? how are you setting them up to be that specific persons?
