Hi,

I'm new to PowerPages and I am trying to send a file to a power automate, using an html input tag that captures a file and that file is send to a flow in power automate, however I'm having trouble with getting the base64str from the file to pass it to power automate.

The code that I'm using to get the base64str is:

What I don't understand is that the exact code works on a new plain HTML file outside of power pages.

Does anyone have a clue on how to bypass this issue? Don't know if I am fighting against a limitation or if is configuration or something from the environment itself

Regards,

    Hey Francisco,
Where are you looking to store the image/file? I store mine in sharepoint.

    Here's how I did it:

    1. Trigger (when row is modified on dataverse)
    2. Download a file or an image (row ID will be the name of the table, and select the column the file/image is stored in)
    3. add a compose step and have the input as the body of the download a file or an image
    4. create a file onedrive (name the file whatever you want. I suggest adding a name and a random number generator at the end to prevent files from being overwritten) (set the file content as the body from file content)
    5. get file content one drive (inside of file put the id from the create file step and enable infer content type)

Once you have all of this done it's as simple as selecting the body from get file content inside of file content to wherever you want to upload the picture.

This link should have all the info needed to do it to a Power Pages Flow (there used to be a very restrictive file size for a Power Pages Flow, believe they were looking at increasing it but I'm not sure what it may currently be)
