dynamically show navigation steps in Power Pages based on checkbox selections

I'm building a multi-step form in Power Pages and need help with dynamically showing form navigation steps based on user selections.

In the "Color" step, I have 13 checkboxes—each representing a different color (e.g., Red, Black, White, etc.).

What I want to achieve:

When a user checks a box (e.g., "Red"), a corresponding form step (e.g., "Red") should appear in the navigation below the "Color" step. By default, these 13 color steps are hidden.

Has anyone implemented something like this before?

Any help would be appreciated!

POC attached.

Perhaps you could hide/show items in the list of Navigation Steps with JavaScript, depending which "Color" checkboxes are checked?

But this won't modify which steps are available, nor their order.

In a multi-step form, the Navigation Steps simply display a description of each step, but they don't provide clickable navigation. They simply indicate what step the user currently has open in the sequence.

Moving from one step to another is done via the Next & Previous buttons at the bottom of each form. A record isn't created until the user clicks the Next button to move to the first step. You can't jump ahead to a future step unless it is set up in that sequence in the Multi-Step form configuration.

If you want to use Navigation Steps as links to various forms, perhaps an alternative approach could be to create each form as an individual Basic Form. Create a full list of links to all these forms, like a table of contents. Then use a combination of JS and Liquid to hide/show both the Navigation Step link and each Basic Form in the order set by whatever "Color" checkboxes are checked.
