Using power pages can we access power apps without Microsoft license

Posted on by 6

I have developed an application in power apps, my question is there a work around so that an external user can access the application without Microsoft license using power pages.

    okay.
The scenario is I am using power app to collect some information from external users. As power app has its own limitation and without license it cannot be accessed.
Just a hunch can we try to mask single licensed credentials so that the external multiple users cannot be aware of the licensed credentials and can login with the masked credentials which we provide and gets authenticate to fill out the data in power apps.

No - they are separate applications. A SharePoint Integrated app can be shared (actually the SharePoint list is shared and it is attached to it) without the need for a licence, but there are quite a few shortfalls in the app functionality (compared with a Canvas App) and you would also be sharing the SharePoint List interface with the relevant user.
If what you are wanting was possible, the user would still need to authenticate and need a licence to do this.

    Thank you for the response.
My question is can we integrate power pages and canvas app in order to make canvas app available to a non-license user using power pages.

I am not sure on your exact question here, but access to Power Pages does not require a licence on the part of the user (it is a web URL), but the development of a Power Pages app requires a Premium licence for the developer and it is a completely separate app to a normal Canvas App.
