Unable to build PowerApps component from Microsoft Sample - TypeError: Cannot create property 'pos' on string 'IInputs'

Hi,

I am trying to work on the Model Driven app Grid control Sample.

https://github.com/microsoft/PowerApps-Samples/tree/master/component-framework/ModelDrivenGridControl

I ran "npm install" as suggested in the link above. I keep getting an error "TypeError: Cannot create property 'pos' on string 'IInputs'" while trying to build.

After going through few articles I executed the below command and I still don't have the manifest TypeScript file generated.

"npm run refreshTypes"

I further referred to below community post, performed the steps mentioned there and still facing the same issue.

Typescript is now installed as mentioned in the above post.

Running "pcf-scripts clean" worked for me
