Will the old analysis engine still be available in March 2025?

Hi,

I started seeing the banner about PowerApps moving to a new analysis engine earlier this week. When I first read the blog post, I misunderstood that this would be a manual upgrade for existing PowerApps applications, but now I'm realizing that this affects all applications in February 2025. I've tested my application with the new analysis engine, and even after I resolved the initial errors, my application is dead in the water. Many parts of it are not working. We have just completed the testing phase and it is going into production in January.

When the update occurs in February, will I be able to revert to the original analysis engine through "Retired" features? I certainly hope so, because this a breaking change.

This app will go out of use in April, until the next year. At that point, I'll be more than happy to convert it to the new engine. Please tell me this will be possible.

    Late answer but yes :

"Thanks again for sharing the issues you've found with us. I want to clarify a couple things about the February timeline.
    1. The New Analysis Engine will only be enabled when an app is edited. If you have apps that aren't being worked on, but are still used, they won't be affected until the next time they're edited in studio.
    2. You can turn it off even after that timeline, and we'll respect that setting for a while longer, although eventually we will remove old analysis engine, and this toggle.
    3. If you've already tried it, and turned it off in your app, we won't force it on in February, although, again, we will eventually."
