I am looking to host a custom copilot studio agent in teams that is able to take natural language questions from the user to query a dataset.
My problems are coming from the connection between the agent to the power bi dataset. I have seen very little documentation of this online, but several forums have mentioned a power bi plugin that is available for your copilot studio agent that is able to form queries from natural language.
If anybody knows about this and can help me with my solution that would be very helpful. Thanks!
Really nice try, i would suggest something "native" from Microsoft : "data agent" from Microsoft Fabric (Power BI is a part of Microsoft Fabric) are exactly what you describe and they could be call from a copilot studio agent as a sub agent.
Otherwise using copilot studio RAG on big volume data will sadly not achieve "good" answer since default RAG from agent are made to take only few result (like ten) and make a summary :)
I suggest you to take a look at data agent and how to implement them, it's tailor made for using this kind of datas and use case and work very well :)
