I am trying to create a PowerApps that uses Stream to present small training videos. I used Reza Dorrani's YT video - Stream VIDEOS in PowerApps from SharePoint Library as the tutorial. I was able to follow the instructions to the "T" and it worked perfectly for me in preview/edit and when I published. But it only worked for ME. All other users get an error saying something about the "The item might not exist or is no longer available - This item might have been deleted, expired, or you might not have permission to view it. Contact the owner of this item for more information." Even if I let another one of my editors into the PowerApps to make changes, it will not work for them in preview/edit either. I reached out to Reza and his suggestion was to cast a larger new to you all here. I'm hoping someone knows what might be causing this.
I don't have a clue what I can do to allow these users the ability to watch these videos from this PowerApps. I will say that when I added the Stream element to the PowerApps it said Stream (Preview). Does that make a difference? Is there still a bug in the Stream player in PowerApps? I have even gone to the Doc Library and managed permissions for users to view the videos and nothing is working.
Here is something interesting. Obviously, if the user tries to access the video from the Gallery - It won't work. However, if I give the user the direct URL to the video (same in the gallery), they can access the video easily.
Any thoughts/ideas/suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Are there other permissions that I am missing? IF so, what could they be, what do they need to changed to?
I can't use YT because not everyone in the company has access, but we all have Stream access. This just blows my mind.
Thank you so much for your help and efforts.
