I added a Fabric data agent in my Copilot Studio agent. I was able to connect, locate the data agent. However I cannot trigger the data agent -the topics do not have an action for the data agent. When I invoke it from the Copilot Studio Overview page, I can see it get called, however it does not return an answer. In Fabric, the data agent works well, it returns correct answers. How can I get the data agent to return the answer to the Copilot Studio agent?
Fabric Data Agents do not yet expose “actions” inside Copilot Studio topics. They can be connected, and Copilot Studio can invoke them (you see the call in the Activity log), but: The Fabric Data Agent cannot currently return a usable response to a Copilot Studio topic. This limitation is because the integration is still in Preview.
