Javascript error after publishing Agent

  • I created an Agent, in a Default Environment (Trial), published and it worked fine, I tested it using the Web App Channel and the Demo website Channel.
  • Then, exported that agent and imported it to a new Production Environment (Managed Environment) using a pay-as-you-go Billing Plan and a new Solution.
  • The export-import process went well.
  • The Agent works fine using the Test your agent section of Copilot Studio.
  • I didn't make any changes to the Agent or the Solution.
  • When Publishing the Agent in the new environment, the publication works fine.
  • The problem is that, when visiting the agent using the Demo website Channel, or even in my Website, using the Web App Channel configuration, the Agent shows a javascripterror message (see image).
  • When looking at the Developer tools in the browser, the error shows: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'connectionStatus$')
  • I've already tried different things, like re export and import the Agent, republish the Agent or check the Power Platform Admin Center to see if there is some connection, but there isn't.

Has someone else face this same error? how did you solve it? thanks in advance.

    Javascript error after publishing Agent
    Hi,

We are truly sorry for the inconvenience. We are currently working to fix this issue. We have published a known issue for it: 5688654 | Power Platform admin center

We suggest the following action until the fix is ready:
    • Change either the name of the bot  or its icon and then save.

    Javascript error after publishing Agent
Thanks for the answer @Robulane, but since the Production Solution is a Managed Solution, is not possible to change the name or the icon of the Agent. I tried changing the icon in the Unmanaged environment, then exported the solution and imported it to the managed environment, the icon changed, but the problem persists after publishing again the Agent. Should I be able to change the icon or the name of the Agent in the Managed environment?, if so, how?

Finally, if there is no way to change the icon or the name in the managed environment, is waiting for the problem to be fixed the only way?

    Thanks again.

We’re encountering the same error as mentioned above. Do we have an estimated timeline for when this issue will be resolved?

    Javascript error after publishing Agent
    I have the same problem.

The agent I'm using it with has 58 sites attached as Knowledge.

I proceeded to create another agent as a test - something simple to tell knock knock jokes - and it initially generated the same error, but then after about 30 minutes started working normally.

The initial agent (the one I need for work - which is sadly not the knock knock joke agent), still continues to throw the javascript error after 10 days. I tried the suggested workaround of changing the agent name and icon and that failed to solve the issue.
