I have an app that displays tasks with one column being the person that is assigned to that task. i have only about 60 tasks right now. Usually it will display the correct user, but as I select and reset the filters enough times, the user will sometimes show the wrong user. if I hit the save button I have, which has a patch function, it will write this incorrect person to the item in the sharepoint list. I'm unsure what is causing this issue. the control is a combo box with the items formula of:
the incorrect user it selects seems to be a random one from a different item on the list and then populates most of the items with this randomly selected user. it will disappear if i scroll down and then back up. it almost seems like it gets stuck and needs a screen refresh or something.
I am very much a beginner to power apps so i could not speak to exactly what this formula does. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
Firstly there is nothing wrong with your formula - I have a blog on this subject that may be useful to you.
So the next question is whether you are using a Modern or Classic Combo Box. If a Modern item, try a Classic control - Modern controls still have bugs in them and your example may be one of them.
