Hello,
I have a Microsoft E5 License.
On Make.powerautomate.com on our default environment I was able to successfully run a HTTPS flow. It did not prompt me to sign up to any trials or stop me.
Please can someone advise why this was possible?

Per flow licenses are set on an admin level to a flow.

My Power Admin has checked and I do not have any licenses assigned to me in our default encironment, but in my deveoopment environment I have the Power Apps Trial license.

Please can any one advise?

I have the following
Power Automate for Office 365

Power Automate Free

Power Automate For CCI Bot

    HI

SharePoint "Send an HTTP request": This is a standard action that is part of the SharePoint connector. It allows a user to make requests to the SharePoint REST API, but only within the bounds of a specific SharePoint site. It is not the same as the full HTTP connector, which can make calls to any external API.
    • HTTP trigger: The "When an HTTP request is received" trigger is a standard trigger that allows an external service to call your flow with an HTTP request. This is often confused with the HTTP action, which is what makes outbound calls.
    • Hope this helps,
    • Usha.

If you want to use Premium connectors without each user having a license, there are legal and supported alternatives:
    1. Per-Flow Plan
    • Buy a Power Automate per-flow license.
    • This allows the flow to use Premium connectors and run under a service account.
    • Any user who triggers the flow (even without a Premium license) can benefit — as long as the flow owner’s license covers it.
    • You’ll need to deploy it in a managed Dataverse environment (not the Default one).
    2. Per-User Plan
    • Buy a Power Automate Premium (per user) license.
    • Each licensed user can use Premium connectors freely in any environment (Default or custom).
    3. Create a New Environment
    • Premium connector access is controlled per environment.
    • Create a dedicated environment with a per-flow license or service account, and run flows there.
    • The Default environment cannot be converted to a Premium-capable one.
    4. Use Microsoft 365 Connectors
    • If your goal can be achieved via standard connectors, stick to those to avoid licensing issues (e.g., use SharePoint or Outlook APIs instead of HTTP calls).
