I understand from this guide Automate web and desktop apps with computer use (preview) - Microsoft Copilot Studio | Microsoft Learn in the section Bring-your-own-machine,
the second bullet reads
  • After registering the machine, turn on computer use in the machine settings.

My installed Power Automate does not have turn on computer use in the machine settings.

Does it exist? Please help.

My installed version is 2.62.00161.25297

Thanks

After you register your machine, enable it for computer use. Here are the steps:

    1. Sign in to Power Automate.
    2. Go to Machines.
    3. Select the machine you registered.
    4. On the machine detail page, select Settings.
    5. Turn on Enable for computer use.
    6. Select Save.

I hope this information helps! If it does, please consider giving a 👍.

Please find my settings screens attached. It does not seem to have that option.
What is wrong and what can I do?

The setting you are looking for is in Https://make.powerautomate.com, not in the Power Automate client on the desktop itself.  See step #1 in @S-Venkadesh's post.

You're checking the Power Automate portal settings, but the correct steps are:

    1. Sign in to Power Automate: https://make.powerautomate.com/
    2. Go to Machines (see screenshot).
    3. Select the machine you registered.
    4. Open the Machine details page and select Settings.
    5. Turn on Enable for computer use.
    6. Click Save.

The settings on the Machine screen attached does not include the option to turn on computer use.
    Anything further to check?

You are in the right place.  As you can see from the following screenshot the setting should be at the top of the panel.
Since it is a Preview feature make sure that Copilot use is enabled in the Power Platform environment settings for that environment.  Go to the settings for that Environment under Product > Features.  Its the first toggle at the top of the page.  Turning that off will disable all the preview features in Copilot.  The computer use setting is one of those Preview features.

All selections in the Power Platform environment are on by default, including computer use but does not make any difference.

I'm not sure why the setting isn't showing up for you then.  I've run out of suggestions.  As you could see from my previous screenshot it is showing up for me.

Could it be that I am using Windows 10 (extended)?
