Agent not responding in Teams but works in Copilot Studio

Our Agent (built using Copilot Studio) has been published for a while now and was previously working fine in MS Teams — but now it’s suddenly not responding in MS Teams, even though it still works when tested in Copilot Studio.

Let me know if you’ve encountered something similar or have any suggestions. Appreciate the help!

    Hi,
Are you still having problems with your agent in Teams? I have the same problem, the same thing happens in my 3 environments (Dev, QA, Prod), until 3 days ago it worked without problems. I have generative AI enabled.

    I have the same issue:

An error has occurred. Error code: ConnectorRequestFailure Conversation Id: 4abd35d9-3f9a-4b3d-9b8e-85ae085a4b18 Time (UTC): 2025-06-25T16:11:10.639Z.

Why the error is so cryptic, where I can found whats is the problem? Security Issues or what?

Agent not responding in Teams but works in Copilot Studio
Hey Team, I am facing the same issue.

I’ve created a Copilot agent in Copilot Studio that connects to Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations to create customer master records. When I test the agent inside Copilot Studio (Test your agent), everything works perfectly.

However, once I publish the agent to Microsoft Teams and try to create a customer master record, I receive this error message:

An error has occurred. Error code: ConnectorRequestFailure Conversation Id: [ID] (UTC: [timestamp])

It seems like the connector is timing out or failing to connect when the agent runs through Teams, even though it works fine in the test environment.

    I’ve already tried:

    Reconnecting the D365 connection

    Republishing the agent

Verifying that the same environment is used

Checking that the connector timeout isn’t exceeded

    But the issue still persists.

    Could anyone help me understand:

    1. Why the connector might be failing only when accessed from Teams?

    2. Whether there are different timeout limits or authentication paths when an agent is run from Teams?

    3. Any recommended steps to resolve the ConnectorRequestFailure error in this scenario?

Thanks in advance for your help!
