Hi Everyone,

I've set up a flow that runs a script in Excel to refresh cube data and then calls an update file flow to save the file with the refreshed data, provided the file isn't locked.

Although the flow completes successfully, the data doesn't refresh. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Details: Using Power Automate online, the "Run Script" flow in the spreadsheet executes a script in Excel to refresh the cube data. The "Do While" loop checks if the file is locked; if it isn't, it calls the "Update File" flow to save the data.

Question: Can Power Automate online access and save an Excel file on OneDrive?

    @ronaldwalcott Yes, when I run the script manually in Excel, it works perfectly. However, when I use Power Automate (online) to run the flow, it completes successfully as shown in the screenshot, but the data in the Excel file doesn't refresh.

    To assist you better with your Power Automate issue, please provide a screenshot of your flow, highlighting the configured actions. If you encounter any errors, indicate which action failed and include the error message(s). This will help us diagnose the problem more effectively. When you say "script," I assume you are running an Office Script. If so, share what the script is, although if the issue is with the script you may be better off posting a question in the Excel forums at Excel | Microsoft Community Hub
